Database Terms

(1) A database is a collection of data elements (facts) stored in a computer in a systematic way, such that a computer program can consult it to answer questions.
(2) Database Management System (DBMS) That is a computer program (or more typically, a suite of them) designed to manage a database, a large set of structured data, and run operations on the data requested by numerous users.
